Among Shawn’s talents are his ability to lead in the face of adversity and his confident decision-making skills based on in-depth data analytics and velocity-driven results. His youthful, entrepreneurial spirit, combined with his innate ability to connect with rising trends, enables him to position companies for success in rapidly evolving global marketplaces with ever-increasing competition.
In his role as Senior VP of US Leasing Operations for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, he led the US Leasing Operations Team and spearheaded multiple high-level strategic initiatives that transformed systems, processes, and talent management while simultaneously restructuring key divisions within the company.
Recruited by Westfield in 2016, Shawn hit the ground running by taking command of US Center Operations as Senior VP and was responsible for the company’s most iconic US destinations. By implementing cornerstone strategies in operations, branding, HR, and data analytics/Business Intelligence, he quickly cemented the company’s position as an industry frontrunner in the US market.
Shawn headed e-commerce, wholesale and retail operations, as Direct to Consumer divisional President at Victorinox Swiss Army from 2014 to 2015. Reimagining this century-old business, he revitalized e-business strategies, reshaped wholesale sales tactics, and oversaw the launch of new retail locations.
Prior to his time at Swiss Army, he held C-Suite roles at both Sears Holdings Corp and Papyrus. The trajectory of Shawn’s career began at Gap Inc. in 1998. Here he earned multiple progressive promotions, culminating in the VP of the Midwest Region.
Shawn has a BA in Political Science and Microeconomics with a Macroeconomics minor from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA. He also attended William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, MN.
Shawn joined Strategic Legal Practices, as the Chief Operating Officer, to help position the Firm for long-term stability and growth, while having oversight and management for all strategic & growth initiatives, people, process, finance, and technology systems.
